Frequently Asked Questions - General

Yes, we accept coins for deposit at all of our branch locations. You will need to roll your coins before bringing them in for deposit. Please do not write on the coin rolls.

As a reminder, we no longer offer coin counting machines at any of our branches.
In order to receive a 1099-INT you must have accrued more than $10 in interest during the calendar year.
1099-INT forms are generated per Social Security Number. If you have multiple memberships you are the primary on, you will receive one form. This form will be located under your oldest membership account with us.
If a check was deposited/withdrawn for the incorrect amount or from the incorrect account, please contact us at 602.631.3200 or 800.621.0287 (outside of Maricopa County).
In order to close your account, you must visit a branch or we must receive a written request by fax or postal mail. The faxed or mailed request must include your name, account number and signature. Once your account has been closed, the remaining balance will be sent to the address on file.
All forms were sent to members on or before January 31st. Please note: if you did not earn over $10 in dividends within the calendar year, then you will not have a 1099-INT tax form.
Your year-to-date interest is located on your statement. You can check your December statement to see how much interest you have accrued.
No, Cash Back rewards do not count towards interest accrued, and you must accrue more than $10 during the calendar year.
