Frequently Asked Questions - Loans
Loan qualifications differ depending on which loan you are applying for. To apply, visit any branch, call us at 602.631.3290 or 800.621.0287 (outside of Maricopa County) or apply online:
- Apply online for an auto loan, personal loan, or to open a credit card
- Apply online for a mortgage, home equity loan, or HELOC.
To find your loan payoff amount, please visit a branch or call us at 602.631.3200 or 800.621.0287 (outside Maricopa County), or log into Online Banking.
We offer same-day approval on qualified applications.
If your account is in good standing and the loan is paid off in full with guaranteed funds, the lien will be released to the registered owner within two weeks. Please be aware that vehicle titles are electronic and will not be mailed. If a paper title is needed for reasons like moving out of state, the registered owner may complete a Title Replacement request on AZ MVD Now.
Examples of guaranteed funds include:
- Cash
- Credit Union West cashier's check
- Proceeds from a wire transfer
- Funds from a new Credit Union West loan
If the registered owner needs the lien released sooner, they may call our Member Contact Center at 800.621.0287 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., send a secure message through Mobile and Online Banking, or visit any branch location for assistance.
