Credit Union West EmployeesCARE Program Gives Back to Arizona Charities
In 2020, our EmployeesCARE program fed healthcare heroes and donated to local charities that are making a difference in our communities. This voluntary program allows Credit Union West employees to nominate their favorite charities and collectively vote on the recipients of staff-funded donations each quarter.
Recently, EmployeesCARE donations went to four Arizona charities:
- Wounded Warrior Project provides vital support to our military veterans, a cause that is inline with Credit Union West's commitment to enhance the lives of U.S. military members and their families.
- Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation seeks to fill the needs of abused and neglected children in foster care throughout Yavapai County.
- Teen Lifeline works to prevent teen suicide by fostering supportive communities, encouraging a sense of connectedness, and giving Arizona teens hope for their future.
- Gabriel's Angel's Pet Therapy Teams visit crisis nurseries, domestic violence and homeless shelters, and Title One schools to help at-risk children through their pet therapy program.
Follow Credit Union West on Facebook and Instagram to see how we’re supporting and partnering with our local community to make an impact. More information about our community outreach can be found online at www.cuwest.org/give.
