Early Pay offers immediate credit of your direct deposit to your account up to two days early depending on your payer's timing and submission of the deposits into our Automatic Clearing House (ACH).
All members that set up direct deposit into their Credit Union West account will automatically receive the benefit of Early Pay.
Your payer will help you enroll in direct deposit by providing a physical or online enrollment form. We also offer direct deposit set up through 'Click&Switch' which allows Credit Union West to contact your payer on your behalf. Visit 'Click&Switch' in Mobile and Online Banking and select 'Switch Direct Deposit' when prompted.
If you already have direct deposit set up, there’s nothing you need to do to get paid early. We’ll reduce the processing time to get your money in your account sooner. Just sit back, relax and get paid!
Credit Union West cannot guarantee you will always receive your direct deposit(s) up to two days early. It depends on when we receive notification from your payer. It is important that you review your account and make sure your funds have posted before conducting transactions against those funds.
Early Pay is not an advance, credit, or loan. It is early access to your direct deposit based on the timing of the payer’s payment instructions.
Heritage High-Yield and Loyalty Rewards Checking account holders should be aware that direct deposits count toward the qualification cycle it posts and settles to. For example, if a payment is scheduled to be distributed on February 1st, but we receive and release the funds to you 2 days early on January 30th, your payment would count toward your January qualification cycle.
No, Early Pay is an automatic member benefit for Credit Union West members, so you can get your funds sooner.
We understand knowing when your money is available is important. You can set up account alerts to notify you when deposits are posted to your Credit Union West account using Mobile and Online Banking . Simply go to 'Alerts' in the menu and select 'Accounts' to turn on 'Automatic Deposit' for up to the minute notifications by email or mobile (push) updates.
This depends on how the funds are sent to your Credit Union West account by the payer. Typically your paycheck, tax return, investment income, retirement income, pension, government benefits, social security, and SSI or disability payments can be sent as a direct deposit. To set up a direct deposit, visit 'Click&Switch' in Mobile and Online Banking and select 'Switch Direct Deposit' when prompted. Please note, any automatic funds transfers (AFT) will happen at their normal time.

1Funds must be pending in the ACH warehouse to post early. Any automatic funds transfers (AFT) will happen at their normal time.
