With the It’s My Money Checking Account, designed for members between the ages of 6 to 17 years old, you can manage your own money and build healthy financial practices. There is no amount too small to start with, and you can manage your transactions, start budgets and more, all within our Mobile Banking app.

No. There is no minimum deposit or ongoing balance requirement for a Youth Checking account. However, when opening the account online, a minimum initial funding amount of $5 is required.
A parent or guardian is required to be a joint owner on the account if the member is between the ages of 6-15. If the member is 16-17 years old, a parent or guardian is not required on the account.
Your It’s My Money Youth Checking account will automatically be converted into a Loyalty Rewards Checking account. If you meet the simple monthly qualifications you will be able to earn cash back on your card purchases.
As a member with an It’s My Money Checking account you can set up Online Banking at any time. All you need is your Member ID and personal info to get started.

*A joint account holder must be at least 18 years of age and is required to provide documentation of the minor’s Social Security number. An adult joint account holder is required for all minor checking accounts to be eligible for a debit card. Minors ages 16 and 17 may open a checking account without an adult joint account holder; however, documentation of the minor’s Social Security number is required. Membership eligibility requirements apply. Refer to the Fee Schedule and Membership Account Agreement for additional details.
