Community Commitment
Our Involvement
At Credit Union West, we do more than live and work in the communities we serve – we also give back to them. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our gains contribute to better services for our members and opportunities for all of our neighbors to elevate their quality of life.
We support organizations and activities that offer individual advancement through education, health services and more. Our areas of passion include:

Employee Commitment
Giving back is a passion that is lived throughout our organization, and we’re proud of our employees. Every day, they bring their skills and best selves to provide extraordinary experiences to our members. They also embrace our values of enhancing lives by giving back to our communities and volunteering.
EmployeesCare Program
Each year, our employees nominate their favorite charities to receive a monetary donation from our EmployeesCARE program. After a list of the organizations is compiled, employees vote to choose four deserving charities to receive a portion of the $12,000 fund that our employees contribute to each year for this purpose.

Employee Volunteers
Our employees often work at community sponsored events, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Paul’s Car Wash, and sometimes provide assistance when requested by members of our community.
If you represent an organization that gives back to the community and you need volunteers for an upcoming event, you can ask for our help. Simply fill out the online form at least 30-days prior to your event and we will consider your request.
