Frequently Asked Questions
Online Banking accessed from your desktop computer will automatically update on July 20, 2022, and the update for the Mobile App will be available beginning October 10, 2022.
No action is needed to enjoy this new user experience in Online Banking for desktop. If automatic updates are turned off on your smart phone or tablet, you will need to check for updates in the app store or turn on automatic updates by October 10th to gain access to the latest features in the Mobile app.
New and Improved Menu Navigation
In Online Banking, the widget button bar has been redesigned into a horizontal menu with simplified drop-down options. The new horizontal menu provides quick access to the full list of available widgets and resources. Now, instead of searching for widgets that were previously nested or hidden, menu items are easily accessed at the top of the screen.
On the Mobile app, you'll see the horizontal menu along the bottom of the screen. Click the 'More' option to reveal the pop-out menu with the full list of available widgets and resources.
Enhanced 'Accounts' and 'Remote Deposit' Features
While the menu navigation will appear modified, the steps and processes within each widget will remain the same except for two additions:
- The Mobile app will have an enhanced ‘Accounts’ experience. Members can now perform transfers and remote deposits from the ‘Accounts’ screen through quick action buttons.
- A redesigned ‘Remote Deposit’ widget will allow members to toggle between check deposit or deposit activity directly from the ‘Remote Deposit Capture’ screen.
With this update members can expect access to the same great widgets they have today. Some of the Mobile and Online Banking features, however, will no longer be supported moving forward:
- Transaction History – We are modifying how long we retain data in Mobile and Online Banking. The ‘Accounts’ widget will now only retain two years of transaction history instead of four years.
- Android PIN Authentication – With most Android devices now supporting biometric authentication members that do not have biometric-capable devices will use web authentication to log in to the mobile app instead of Android PIN.
- Widget Tab Bar Customization in iOS – With the new horizontal menu that provides quick access to the full list of available widgets and resources, members will no longer have the option to customize the widget tab bar.
- Snapshot Account Ordering – To simplify the Snapshot functionality, members will no longer need to preselect the accounts they would like to see and will instead be presented with all their accounts and corresponding balances without logging in to the Mobile app. Members can continue to enable or disable Snapshot through the Onboarding process or through the app settings.
- Wearables and Tablets – With less than 1% of Wearable (Apple Watch) and Tablet usage across the overall platform, Wearables will no longer be supported, and the experience will not be optimized for tablets in this update.
- Upon launch of the app (before signing in), the app will display the version number toward the bottom of the screen.
- Within the application, navigate to the bottom bar and tap ‘More’ on iOS or tap the menu button (three horizontal lines) at the top of the screen to reveal the pop out menu. The version number will be displayed at the very bottom of the pop out menu.
