Peoria Chamber Luncheon Focuses Locally

On Wednesday, February 10, the Peoria Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon at Arizona Broadway Theatre focusing on supporting local businesses. The Peoria Chamber is an advocate for local businesses, encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit while proudly promoting a diverse community with honor and integrity. We are pleased to be a part of the luncheon and honored to recognize our local community charity partners that received support in 2015 through our Jeans Day Fund. Since the inception of our Jeans Day Fund program in 2007, Credit Union West employees have donated over $87,500 to various non-profit organizations.

Thomas Barr, Director of Member Engagement and Operations for Local First Arizona (LFA), is the featured guest speaker for the luncheon. Thomas will present the history, mission and impact of LFA and will share the importance of “supporting local”, which helps sustain our local economy.
