2010 Board Candidate Bios

The Nominating Committee, Chaired by Beverly Gately, has selected three candidates for three open seats on the Credit Union West Board of Directors, for the term beginning in 2010.

The biographical information provided below was submitted by each candidate.

Director Ben C. San Felipe:

Mr. Ben C. San Felipe has been a member of the credit union since 1985. He has multiple relationships with Credit Union West as a volunteer official. First, he has been nominated and selected by the board of directors to serve as a member to the Supervisory Committee in 1986-2003. He was elected by his peers in the committee to serve as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee in March 2002-2003. In March 2003, he was elected to be a member of the Board of Directors. In March 2007 he was re-elected to serve the board, to present.

Mr. San Felipe holds a degree in Business Administration from University of the East, in Manila, Philippines. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer in 1984. In 1985 he was employed at Luke Air Base, AZ as a Real Estate Specialist, and retired in October 2005.

Director Dorothy M. Rowe:

Dorothy Rowe has been a long time member of Credit Union West. She is presently employed at Luke Air Force Base, 56^th Financial Management and Comptroller Squadron. Dorothy has been a past Chairman of the Board and has served on our Supervisory Committee. Her civil service experience includes the USAF Budget and Accounting Department, plus the Financial management Department of Comptroller Training. Dorothy is a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers.

Director Robert L. Noiseau:

Bob Noiseau has served on the Credit Union West Board of Directors for the past 34 years and has served as Chairman, Board of Directors for at least twenty five years. He is a retired CM Sgt from the 26^th Air Division at Luke AFB with 28 years of professional experience in the field of Personnel Management. He also retired from Civil Service after 15 years where he served as a Federal Investigator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In 2001 he received the Rose Mofford Credit Union Volunteer Award from the Arizona Credit Union League for distinguished volunteer service to the credit unions of Arizona. Bob is a member of the National Association of Credit Union Chairmen. His goal is to ensure that Credit Union West is the premier financial institution in the state of Arizona.
